Trust your area rugs to Chem-Dry
While an area rug is a great addition to any room, they receive a fair amount of traffic and can quickly become dirty. Your local Chem-Dry professional can clean most any rug and have it looking good as new.
Due to a wide variety in construction materials and styles of area rugs, your local Chem-Dry technician can provide an analysis and quote.
Area rugs are something that can be cleaned in your home, or brought back to our shop and cleaned there! Customers are more then welcome to drop them off and pick them up or we can do it for you (pickup and delivery fees may apply)!
Many rugs, like upholstery, require special attention and cleaning.
Advantage Chem-Dry now offers a full Rug Cleaning Plant, which is often referred to as a rug bath. We offer pick-up and delivery of your rugs, or you can simply drop off your rugs at our facility and pick them up when they are done. You have this option, which ever you may choose.
We can clean your rugs on-site or we can clean them in our new Rug Cleaning Plant. Our in-plant rug cleaning includes the following steps:
1. First, the rug is tested to know how to clean it.
2. The rug is then “dusted”. The dusting process removes dry soils that vacuuming cannot remove.
3. The rug is then scrubbed with a gentle shampoo.
4. Next, the rug is placed in a rug bath that circulates water through the fibers of the rug to rinse away the shampoo and soil. If the rug has fringe, it also may require some specialized cleaning.
5. Now the rug is ready for the drying process. Most rugs can hang dry, while others require flat laid drying.
6. Next, the rugs are inspected to make sure they look just as good as possible. They are now ready for delivery or pick-up.
